The Albino Pleco, also known as the White Pleco, is a unique and eye-catching addition to any aquarium. As the name suggests, Albino Plecos are characterized by their pale white coloration and striking red eyes.
Originating from South America, the Albino Pleco requires a well-maintained aquarium with plenty of hiding places and clean water. They prefer a tank size of at least 30 gallons and can grow up to 6 inches in length. The Albino Pleco is a peaceful fish that can be kept with other non-aggressive fish.
In terms of diet, the Albino Pleco is primarily herbivorous, and their diet should consist of algae wafers, fresh vegetables such as cucumber and zucchini, and occasional meaty foods such as brine shrimp.
