Cardinal Tetras are relatively small, with a maximum size of 2 inches, and require a minimum tank size of 10 gallons. They are active swimmers and appreciate plenty of hiding places, live plants, and open swimming areas. They are also peaceful and can be kept with other small, peaceful species.


These omnivores will eat a variety of foods, including flakes, pellets, and small pieces of vegetables. It's important to provide a balanced diet to ensure they receive all the necessary nutrients for optimal health.
