The Electric Blue Acara Cichlid is a stunning and colorful freshwater fish that originates from South America. It is also known as the Blue Acara, Electric Blue Hap, or Andinoacara Pulcher.

Electric Blue Acara Cichlids are relatively easy to care for and are suitable for intermediate to advanced aquarists. They require a spacious aquarium with plenty of hiding places, such as rocks, caves, or driftwood, and prefer a sandy substrate. They are omnivores and should be fed a varied diet of high-quality pellets, flakes, and live or frozen foods such as bloodworms or brine shrimp. It is important to maintain good water quality, and regular water changes should be performed.

The Electric Blue Acara Cichlid is known for its striking blue coloration with a metallic sheen, and its body is marked with black spots and stripes. They can grow up to 7 inches in length, and their body shape is relatively compact and rounded.

Electric Blue Acara Cichlids are peaceful and generally get along well with other peaceful fish species of similar size and temperament. However, they can become territorial and aggressive during breeding, so it is recommended to keep them in a larger aquarium with plenty of hiding places and territories.
