The Firefish Goby, also known as the Magnificent Dartfish, is a popular and stunning addition to any reef aquarium.

These fish are relatively small, growing up to 3 inches in length, making them suitable for smaller tanks. They are best kept in a tank of at least 30 gallons with plenty of hiding places such as live rock or corals.

The Firefish Goby is rated as an "Easy" fish to care for out of three options, which means they are suitable for beginner aquarists.

These fish are carnivorous and should be fed a varied diet consisting of live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, or small pieces of meaty foods. They should be fed multiple times a day to ensure their optimal health.

The Firefish Goby is native to the Indo-Pacific region and can be found in shallow lagoons, coral reefs, and rocky areas.

In terms of coloration, the Firefish Goby has a vibrant red, orange, and white body with large, expressive eyes and a long, slender body that allows them to move quickly and gracefully through the water.
