The Gold Marble Angel, also known as Pterophyllum scalare, is a stunning freshwater fish species that originates from the Amazon Basin in South America. They are a popular choice for aquarists due to their striking coloration and graceful swimming behavior.


Gold Marble Angels are relatively large, with a maximum size of 6 inches, and require a minimum tank size of 30 gallons. They are active swimmers and appreciate plenty of hiding places, plants, and open swimming areas. They are also peaceful and can be kept with other peaceful fish species.


These omnivores will eat a variety of foods, including flakes, pellets, and live or frozen foods. It's important to provide a balanced diet to ensure they receive all the necessary nutrients for optimal health.
