The Gold Pristella Tetra is a hardy and eye-catching variation of the X-ray tetra, featuring a warm golden body contrasted by distinctive black-and-white tipped fins. Known for their adaptability, these fish are excellent for both beginners and seasoned aquarists, as they tolerate a wide range of water conditions while maintaining active, peaceful schooling behavior. Gold Pristella Tetras do best in groups, where they swim in the mid-water column and display their best coloration under good lighting and a balanced diet. They are highly social, rarely aggressive, and thrive in planted community tanks with open swimming space, making them a versatile addition to many aquarium setups.
