The Gold Ram, also known as the Gold Ram Cichlid, is a peaceful freshwater fish that makes a great addition to any community aquarium. These fish are native to South America and are known for their beautiful golden-yellow coloration and black markings.
On average, Gold Rams grow to be around 2-3 inches in length and require a tank size of at least 20 gallons. They have a peaceful temperament and can be kept with other peaceful fish, but should be avoided with aggressive or larger species.
Gold Rams are moderately easy to care for, with a care level of moderate. They require a balanced diet of both flake and frozen foods, as well as live or frozen brine shrimp and bloodworms. They also prefer a well-planted aquarium with plenty of hiding spots and peaceful tankmates.
