The Neon Barb is a small and colorful species of freshwater fish that is native to Southeast Asia. These fish are known for their striking appearance, with their bright blue and red coloration that contrasts sharply against their silver body.

Neon Barbs are a relatively small species, growing to only 2 inches in length. They are best kept in groups of 6 or more in a tank of at least 10 gallons. It is important to provide plenty of hiding spots and open swimming areas in the aquarium, as these fish are active and enjoy exploring their surroundings.

These fish are omnivorous and will eat a variety of foods, including flakes, pellets, frozen or live foods, and vegetables. A varied and balanced diet will help to ensure their overall health and vitality.

Neon Barbs are generally peaceful and can coexist with other peaceful fish, such as tetras, cichlids, and other small community fish. However, they may become aggressive towards other barbs or fish with long fins.

Their bright and vibrant coloration makes the Neon Barb a popular choice among aquarium enthusiasts, adding a burst of color and energy to any community aquarium.
