The Neon Blue Guppy is a stunning freshwater fish that adds a pop of color to any aquarium. These fish are small in size, averaging around 1.5 inches in length, with a maximum size of 2 inches.

To keep these fish healthy and happy, a minimum tank size of 10 gallons is recommended. They are social creatures and prefer to live in groups of six or more. They have a peaceful temperament and are compatible with other peaceful fish.


The Neon Blue Guppy is rated as an "Easy" fish to care for out of three options, which means they require minimal effort to maintain. They are an ideal choice for novice aquarists.

These fish are omnivorous and will happily eat flakes, pellets, frozen or live food. A varied diet is recommended to ensure their optimal health.


The Neon Blue Guppy originates from the rivers and streams of South America, particularly Guyana and Brazil.


In terms of coloration, the Neon Blue Guppy has a vibrant blue body with a black tail and dorsal fin. The males have a bright blue coloration with a long and colorful tail, while the females have a less vivid blue color with a shorter tail.
