The Neon Green Rasbora (Microdevario kubotai), also called the Kubotai Rasbora, is a tiny, brilliantly colored schooling fish perfect for nano and planted aquariums. Growing to just about 1 inch, they display a vibrant neon-green body that glows under aquarium lighting. They thrive in peaceful community tanks and should always be kept in groups of at least 8–10 to encourage natural shoaling behavior and reduce stress. These rasboras prefer soft, slightly acidic to neutral water with gentle filtration, dense vegetation, and open swimming areas. Their diet should include high-quality micro-pellets, crushed flakes, and live or frozen foods such as daphnia, baby brine shrimp, or microworms to maintain their health and coloration. Hardy but sensitive to poor water quality, they are best suited to experienced beginners and aquascaped setups.
