The OB Peacock Cichlid, or Orange Blotched Peacock Cichlid, is a stunning freshwater fish that is native to Lake Malawi in Africa. It is a popular cichlid species due to its vibrant coloration, which includes orange, blue, and black blotches.

OB Peacock Cichlids require a spacious aquarium with plenty of hiding places, such as rocks, caves, or driftwood. They are omnivores and should be fed a varied diet that includes high-quality pellets or flakes, as well as live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp or bloodworms. It is important to maintain good water quality, and regular water changes should be performed.

OB Peacock Cichlids have a distinctive orange coloration with blue and black blotches. The males are typically larger and more colorful than females, and they have elongated dorsal fins. They can grow up to 6 inches in length.

OB Peacock Cichlids are relatively peaceful and can be kept with other African cichlid species of similar size and temperament. However, males can become aggressive towards other males during breeding or territorial disputes, so it is recommended to keep them in a group with several females.
