The Ocellaris Clownfish, also commonly known as the False Percula Clownfish or Nemo Clownfish, is a beautiful and popular species of marine fish that can be found in saltwater environments. They are known for their bright orange coloration, with three distinctive white stripes on their body, and a black outline around each fin.

Ocellaris Clownfish originate from the Indo-Pacific region, including the Great Barrier Reef, the Red Sea, and the coast of East Africa. They are commonly found in shallow lagoons, coral reefs, and tidal pools. They are a hardy species and easy to care for, making them a great choice for beginner saltwater aquarists.

When kept in an aquarium, Ocellaris Clownfish require a minimum tank size of 20 gallons, with a salinity level between 1.020-1.025. They are a peaceful species and can be kept with other non-aggressive fish. It is recommended to provide plenty of hiding places, such as live rock or artificial coral structures, to help them feel secure.

These fish are known to be relatively small, reaching a maximum size of around 3 inches in length. Ocellaris Clownfish are omnivorous and can be fed a diet of flake or pellet food, as well as frozen or live foods such as brine shrimp or mysis shrimp.
