Red & Green Clown Gobies are tiny, colorful saltwater fish best suited for peaceful reef aquariums, where they spend most of their time perching on live rock or corals rather than swimming in open water. They thrive in mature, stable systems with plenty of hiding and perching spots, gentle water flow, and excellent water quality. These gobies are generally peaceful and can be kept singly or as a bonded pair, but may be territorial toward their own kind in very small tanks. They accept small meaty foods such as frozen mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, copepods, and finely chopped seafood, and often benefit from target feeding due to their shy nature. While reef-safe, they may irritate SPS corals by perching or nesting among branches, so placement and observation are important.
