The Red Tail Blenny, also known as Escenius bicolor, is a colorful and active marine fish species that is native to the Western Pacific Ocean. They are a popular choice for aquarists due to their vibrant colors and interesting behavior.

Red Tail Blennies are relatively small, with a maximum size of 4 inches, and require a minimum tank size of 30 gallons. They are active swimmers and appreciate plenty of hiding places, live rock, and open swimming areas. They are also peaceful and can be kept with other small, peaceful species.

These carnivores will eat a variety of foods, including frozen or live brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and other small meaty foods. It's important to provide a varied diet to ensure they receive all the necessary nutrients for optimal health.

The Red Tail Blenny's unique characteristic is their striking red tail, which contrasts beautifully with their blue-green body coloration. They are also known for their interesting behavior, such as perching on rocks and peering out from crevices.
