The Rolland Damsel is a popular and attractive saltwater fish that is sure to catch the eye of any aquarium enthusiast. This species is commonly found in the Indo-Pacific region and is known for its striking blue and yellow coloration, with a distinct black spot on its dorsal fin.


While the Rolland Damsel can be aggressive towards other fish, especially those of a similar appearance, they are generally peaceful if given plenty of hiding places and adequate space. They require a minimum tank size of 30 gallons, with plenty of live rock or coral to provide hiding places and stimulate their natural behavior.


This species is relatively hardy and easy to care for, making it a good choice for both novice and experienced aquarium keepers. They should be fed a varied diet consisting of both meaty and vegetable-based foods, such as frozen shrimp, krill, and seaweed.


The Rolland Damsel requires a stable and appropriate water environment, with a salinity level between 1.020-1.025 and a pH level of 8.1-8.4. They can grow up to 4 inches in length and have a lifespan of up to 5 years.
