The Sleeper Mural Goby, also known as Valenciennea muralis, is a unique and intriguing saltwater fish species that originates from the Indo-Pacific region. They are a popular choice for aquarists due to their interesting behavior and striking appearance.

Sleeper Mural Gobies are relatively small, with a maximum size of 4 inches, and require a minimum tank size of 30 gallons. They are active burrowers and appreciate a sandy substrate that they can dig into. They are also peaceful and can be kept with other non-aggressive species.

These omnivores will eat a variety of foods, including frozen and live foods, such as brine shrimp and bloodworms. It's important to provide a varied diet to ensure they receive all the necessary nutrients for optimal health.

The Sleeper Mural Goby's unique characteristic is their burrowing behavior, which they use to sift through sand in search of food and create a home for themselves. They are also known for their diamond-shaped markings, which give them their name.
